I'm a bit confused on what your asking about the pump.
You have a pipe connected to the servo container lid.
Its connected to the pressure input side for the clutch servo,
The pressure output next to it you have blocked with a plug.
So i just wanted to know if you have removed the coupling from the servo pump so you dont have any pressure on that line.

The common thing to do i believe when gt2 converting is to place plugs in both input and output, and remove the pipe.
O ya all the extra clutch lines are removed and blocked off. Full oem gt2 style swap. I literally have a large box filled will all the parts I took off the car. Basically I'm trying to get it down to as simple as possible. As of now you could actually work on the motor in the car as before you really cant.
Basically I'm trying to make what I'd call a 996 gt2 rs out of the thing. Long term will be 1000whp and at some point go to better coilovers than I have. The rest is done.
Nice work so far. You sure you want to go without rods and studs? I blew up doing 5th gear pulls with much less than what you have there.
Well it will be run at more like 600whp most of the time. You have 5 boost setting with proefi 112 controlled through the cruise control so it's easy to go up and down on the power then you want to.
The rest is all in the tuning. Keeping torque down and raising boost up top is key. Im using 12 psi wastegate spring instead of 14.7 like most to help make tuning that a little easier. Probabaly ramp from about 15psi at 3500rpm to 23-24 up around 7000. Keep the torque at 600wlb max.
The motor is going to be build next winter as well. I'll be going to a 3.8 setup and then will push these turbos and injectors to the max. Then the following year trans build, injectors and efr7163
I think you might need to do something internal to the P/S unit in addition to blocking it off. Before you put it back in the car be sure as I've heard there's something you can do so there's no pressure on that plug? Anyone know?

Reason: spammer quote zapped :)
^^ You might want to remove that quote - it's a spammer post and who the heck knows what malware lies on the end of that link! :-O

Alright just did that.
As for the ps assist, you shouldn't from what I've read. Just plugging off the flow to that, shouldn't effect anything else I don't think.
I think the difference between the GT2 pump and our's is some sort of valve and a plate that's different. Hopefully someone who knows more can answer the question because this conversion is on my bucket list too!
Just take it apart and you will see how it works. There is a coupler that connects the two parts of the pump that you disconnect. You have to block off the line openings also. I had a hard time finding plugs that fit. I finally took the line out plugs and welded them shut and put them back in.
Thanks guys, I'll do this tonight. It's hard to think how much more difficult and expensive modding cars was pre Internet forums.
Ha, I can give you a taste... You buy a "PnP" DFI standalone for your Mustang. It comes with no manual and DOS software that you run on a small suitcase sized 286 "laptop", forget wide bands or knock sensors. For tuning tips you call the guy who developed it (Kenny Duttweiler? Been awhile) long distance coast to coast (NOT FREE!) and beg his wife who answers the phone to pretty please ask him to come in from the shop and answer a few questions because damn near no one knows this stuff or that system but him.... Seriously! Hearing every redneck around tell me to swap in a Holley just made it all the better. The exchange of knowledge now is beyond awesome...
Well got a bunch of stuff done this weekend. Finished the fuel system including the cooler. I still have to make a vent for the cooler. Got the front bumper back on, bunch of wiring done. Vents screens on as well. Still so much to do thought and not enough time to do it.
