Silver bullet build

Well just starting my big build here this weekend. Like usual I go from buying a car and saying I'm not going to do much....to go overboard.

This build is named after the stuff I'll be drinking most of the time while buidling it, good old coors silver bullets aka shop beer.

This is kinda of a special car in my area. Being in North Dakota and northern Minnesota, a 911 turbo is not a common site. I bought my 01 gt2 clone out of California in august and I love the car. At the moment it had a codd stage 2 tune and was fun but not fast enough. Here is the current list so far. Was hoping to have it ready to go to tx2k but probably won't be done till april.
Engine

Proefi 112 wth flex fuel sensor
K20/billet 20g turbos (new size turbine between a k16 and k24 I'm trying)
1300cc injectors running e85 and 91
Ipd 74mm plenum and tb
3.5 inch intercoolers (wise will probabaly go to a 4.5 at sometime)
Custom Y pipe
Custom fuel system, dual 450lph walbro staged with fuelab fpr
Fender intakes
3 inch xpipe catless exhaust
Torque solutions motor mounts
Torque solutions trans mount bushings.

Drive train
Exedy triple carbon r clutch
Wavetrac lsd
Rwd

Suspension

H&r coilovers
Gmg sway bar with HD links
Solid subframe bushings
Solid thrust arm bushings
Poly inner lca and toe arm bushings
Torque solutions dogbox arms

Brakes

Ss lines
Rpf 600 fluid
350mm rotor with spaced stock calipers
Pads (have not decided yet on compound)

Wheels and tires

Forester cf10 wheels
19x9
19x12
Re11 tire
255/35/19 and 325/30/19

So excited about the car and build. True dream come true.

Good luck with your project. Bringing all the way to TX2K16™ would be fun. Look me up if you make it down.

Who's going to tune it?

Thanks Todd. Ya if I get it done in time I'll be there. I'm pushing time between this, rebuilding 3 pavers, and trying to keep the girlfriend half entertained.

Matt Sandbeck for Sandbeck race development (srd) is tuning it. He's a local guy and a friend. Best tuner I've ever worked with. Very talented and actually cares enough to spend extra time making tuned perfect in all areas. He does lots of aem setup but this is the first proefi so we will have a learning curve.

Looks like a very cool build!

Will you be machining a stock K16 turbine housing to fit this new turbine wheel or a new housing all together?

Good luck! Keep us updated.

Machining out the k16 housings. Easy to do. I've been hundreds of turbos over the years, always like to try new stuff and make new designs.
Only costs me 850 to build the turbos. If I upgrade again it will be to efr7163 but that would be after a motor build.

comp wheels i have made by the guys who have been making them for me for many many years. The turbines are also made in taiwan but from a new company i have not bought stuff from yet. we will see how they do.

BTW i go have some billet k16 size wheels for sale if anyone needs them. they are what i was going to use until todd told be to just say screw it and go big.

Here is the difference between the billet k16/k24 small wheels (47.5/66/70.7mm extended tip) and the k16/k24 billet 20g wheels (52.5/68/73.2mm extended tip)
