Poster: "I'm curious what kind of rear gears are in the Z06?"
Greg: "The build quality is terrible"
As far as looking terrible >>> First, looks are subjective. I like your M3 but man it looks like any other 3 series Bimmer to 99% of the population. For the record, the exterior of the Z06 is killer looking to me.
As far as sounding terrible >>> you are kidding right?

I hate to break it to you but the 996TT IS NOT more stable at speed and is nowhere near the performer as the Z06. I've owned both and you damn well know I am no Vette fanboy. I am reporting the facts. The Z06 at 150 mph is much more planted. My 996TT with coilovers had a tenedency to wallow a bit.

i dont care if my car looks like a reg 3 series to most, but my m3 is more differentiated from a reg 3 series coupe than your z06 is from a reg c6. then again, my engine did win international engine of the yr award 5 times, how many times did your engine win?
i couldnt help that one. and another point, i actually stayed out of a lot of these recently, but when people preach that this is god gift to car guys, im gonna bring them back down to earth, and fast. and i said more than it just has terrible build quality.
