For the record, I bought the Turbo for $66.8K and sold it for $65K nearly six months later. Granted I put c/o on it ($3,500) and lost $1K on the wheels that took 10 weeks to get in and sold them a week later. Cost me, about $1,000 month to drive an '03 Turbo. Good deal to me.

**** like this just makes me want to stay away. I will most likely own another Porsche or BMW or Audi in the very near future (12-15 months) and alot of stuff on here is very insightful and helpful so I do like to "see whats out there" but when you have to field crap like this I question whether its even worth it.

A well driven Z06 on a fast track (like Brainerd or Road America)with just
Hoosiers (or similar),
is VERY difficult to beat; even in a well modded 996TT.
My opinion based upon experience, you CANNOT discount this cars performance!

Going away is a good thing because if you want someone to stroke your Z06 you can easily go to CF and see that. People here know the Z06 is fast, who doesnt, doesnt mean they have to like the car, or anything about it. Stop Whinning!!!

Go back and read the thread and show me where I ever asked for anyone to stroke the Z06. I tried to offer my opinion to the second guy on here that requested some insight on the two cars as, GOD FORBID, he was interested in BOTH cars. I merely made a statement that I felt MY (get it, MY ****ING CAR) 996TT wallowed a bit at high speed and then the ****storm started with "who has the bigger dick" typical Z vs Porsche horse****.
I'm not saying--- nor did I ever say--- that ANYBODY has to like the car. There are your typical Z06 haters on here (PorscheC4, MiniD, MIkelly) that must actually go seeking out ANYONE posting about a Z06 and they start the bashing/negative ****. I could care less if you or anyone else on here likes the car, hates the car or wants to **** the car. Really, I could give a flying ****. The OP and one other posted the thread and deserve to hear people's opinons of BOTH cars they are interested in without blowhards such as yourself starting ****. Having said that, I'm done with the topic as the OPs haven't been heard from in some time.
