You cant deny Chevy has crappy build quality, doesnt mean they arent loveable, just annoying. Porsche has had it's problems too, definitely it's fair share, but overall crappy quality award goes to chevy. See if your dash surround isnt flaking and peeling in a year or two, classic chevy. You cant hide cheap.
Trust me, I'm not biased, I have a C5, much worse quality than a C6 and I love it. Porsches are overpriced, WAYYYYY overpriced, and they need to step into the new age of design and motor at some point. The interiors were BORING!!!! until the 997, charge way too much for options.
All cars SUCK at SOMETHING. Trading blows at which car sucks at what worse is a waist of time. I'm with Mikelly, let's meet up on the track. And amerlemans, dont try and set up races with other people, back up your own smack or shutup.

BTW Mi(karsux), what verifiable lap times do you run on the large circuit at Summit Point?

My Z was very, very fast (in a straight line and on the track) and sounded great. Handling was very good, but the feedback was numb. Build quality was terrrible - roof problems, orange peel, engine issues. Interior sucked. Front brakes were some of the worst ever designed (I melted them on my first track event). Service was attrocious. I had many problems stemming from the oiling issue on the 06's.
The Porsche is not as fast in a straight line. The build quality is much better all the way around. Service is better, but more expensive (and I don't mind paying for it). I cannot compare my 996TT Cab to a Z06. Different car. IMHO, Porsches just communicate to the driver better, are built better, definitely hold their value better and are more exclusive.
I absolutely will not engage in an argument with anyone on the above. These are all opinions and mine is not changing.
Looks like he has had flawless performance from his turbo if you don't think brakes are important, and oh a mas air failure, and oh limp mode, all he can say about the Z06 is the roof delaminated. I will take a loose roof over no brakes any day.

Not putting my Porsche down, however, I love running it through corners better than anything, but I don't think the Z06 is slow through them, I think it might actually be faster and due to better weight balance easier to run through corners (I need more seat time and less rain to be certain).
