My car had its first routine service last year so it won't be long . I am going have it repainted . I showed it to others and they can't see it unless they go underneath the lip . I can live with it for a little while and after yesterdays jet ski ordeal I feel better today .

LOL I go to a body shop where one of there customers has a 4s with the areo kit. They have 2 front spoilers. One is in paint while the other is on the car. Every couple of months he comes in to switch them out.

I have scraped but the white scrape does not show on the white. Lucky me

I like the middle ground. Don't go all out and have the entire lip painted. Just do a touch up(or nothing especially since you can't see it standing in front of the car). Plan on doing a touch-up every few months ($75) when you think you can see it.

Also, I think you will enjoy the car even more when you get to the point where you are not so worried about scraping the lip. The way I look at it, you can test a few more driveways. (this is what I did after my first scrape... then I touched it up after I got a huge scrape.. looks perfect now!!).
