Good thing he didn't drive the Turbo S. And it gets to 60 in 2.9 secs, not 3 something.

Great write-up! It's funny considering how much grousing there was about dropping the GT1 block when the .2s were announced. The PDK appears to have (almost) rendered significant aftermarket ECU mods unnecessary. Almost.

I'm good without them. Last thing I need. Too many complications. I'm sure Mrs Stormeister would agree.

I came from a 2007 TT Coupe 6 speed. The 2010 PDK Cab = different animal in all the good ways. LOVE the PDK (nice step up on the DSG in my VW GTI). Love love love the cabriolet. Can't beat tooling around in the new car. Went on a field trip with my 9 year old son today. Got kudos from the Honda dealer and at Dunkin Donuts! Smiles all around. The WSJ article is a good read too.

I'm jumping over from a Cayenne TT. If anything, the experience should be even more dramatic.
I've been Porsche-less since December when I gave the P dealer the CTT as down payment in part exchange for new 911 PDK TT. At least hopefully the wait will soon be over.
Glad you're enjoying the beast. Enjoy it in good health with the family.
