Reviving this old thread..

Can anyone with these tail lights chime in on how long they've lasted through the years? Still having dead LED problems? Would you still recommend them several years later?

 

Surprisingly well, actually! After adding the resistor mod (documented somewhere in this thread) mine have been working great.

I can't say the same for the Agency Power DRLs I bought years back. The first set I had wasn't sealed and corroded and I had to get a new pair (thankfully under a 1 year replacement warranty), then the ballasts went out and I had to get new ballasts. The replacement pair still isn't sealed properly and they are corroding on the inside and will show condensation/water after it rains. I'm about to just put the OEM LED bars back in.

 

After the resistor mod on one of the lights (did both just as a precaution), absolutely no issues

 

no issues i've had mine since they 1st came out

 

I’m in same boat having issues with one light swapped resistors from one side to other still doesn’t work

 

Mine is fine so far.
