if you look at 07-08 there will be no pcm3 since they are from 09

atomicfan is infamous around these parts
I know, but to find a 09 cabrio with manual transmission from 2009 is nearly impossible.

But for 07 or 08 there are some available

That's not strictly accurate as there is still an outstanding issue with getting the equipment to work fully once installed in the car. Something I'm waiting to hear news on as it's something I'd like to do myself.

I read the whole thread and there were issues with getting the various things activated once installed. I've been waiting for thos issues to be resolved.

I thought the air issues were about getting the unit from the gen.1 turbo that came fitted with the PCM3

In the thread one guy who fitted the PCM3 said all of the things like SatNav etc stopped working after a time and he had to get serial numbers from some hacker?

So you're saying that you were able to get the Porsche dealer to programme the software? I asked in my local Porsche Dealer in the UK they said it wasn't possible.

Is not programing only must add this codes, nothink else.
In the 997,2 cars when you want to add for example Bluetooth and this option was not from the begining ,you ask from porsche one code and you pay and after they add this code throu PIWIS to the PCM and active it.

Guys,

Although I have read through the whole thread, I am still having trouble in compiling a list of all parts (pcm unit and wires and harnesses and anything else needed). Can any one be so kindly and post a list of all the parts needed and where we can buy them? The PCM units won't be the much of a problem but what kind of wires, harnesses, plugs, sockets, etc... I am sure a lot of us are quite lost and can't follow..

Serg, if possible, more detailed explanations of how to solve the issues pointed out by other members will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys!
