In the models 997.1 you don't need to change the gateway.
You change the gateway to cayenne models .

I dont have time now to read your post(i will do later) but you dont need a pcm3 with all options..
You need a pcm with 6disk dvd option the other option you enable them with serg's codes... Either the pcm have them or not need to be enabled again!!

Very inportant: Your pcm3 is better to be with system version 2.1+ or you have to upgrade it to 2.1 version or else sergs codes dont work!! (Previous soft. Versions have big problems with bluetooth as well)

This bose amp is ok.. I dont know about your A/C unit as it has to be produced by a specific date (It is the same for the other buttons with pasm and sporct button as well).. ( I dont remember) i did this mod over a year now and i found out all these by myself... It is a great mod though..

More info

Guys could you please explained why you need to change the amp on the gen 1 997 PCM 2.1 I have a non Bose system is it just a matter of volume output I being to hight,,,, I know you can't adjust the volume on the outside of a Porsche amp but I'm sure you can from inside of the device ....

GPS cable from the back of the dvd Nav deck under front hood, is that correct, you have to replace this cable

And do you guys know anything about installing / retrofitting a sports chrono as system as this is next on my list to do ....thanks
