We made two cars and the old microfone is not compatible ....

My understanding is no one here in the US has tackled this. I even offered to pay someone overseas whos done the to put together all the wiring things I would need so i coukd essentially be close to plug and play and no one was interested

FROM THE UK.... I've not done mine as yet I'm waiting for a new AMP and GPS cable as soon as I've completed I will post the Info for your enjoyment .... So far it looks simple enough ....

I agree... I cant figure out what to get and where to get... Cant get this project even started...

I occasionally watch this thread. Besides no clear instructions, I haven't seen any hint of the cost. I can't imagine it would cost any less than the best aftermarket solution, which is about $2k. Just because it is a porsche pcm, doesn't mean that this will seem like a factory part in a .1 car.

Correct, but even the best aftermarket solutions which i agree with you will have better mapping, better features etc, wont look as good as the oem deck in the stack. Along with that, those that like having the PCM info on the deck or on the dash lose that by going with aftermarket decks.
