I ordered a ac unit with a vin from a real 2009 gt2 with pcm3. ( But without heated seats as i do not have it)

So this should work without any problems or?

We looked at parts catalogue for my car and 2009 car. All part numbers match for AC temp sensors etc. Only difference is loom and AC control unit. AC controller is from 2009 model (bought new).

If it's brand new you will have to get it coded to your car via piwis.

As far as I know it has to be done in vehicle prep. I had a garage do it so I'm short on details.

Does anyone have full parts list or DIY? So much info it'd be great if there was a single page for it all after so long?

Isysman and a few others have bought the 09 turbo 997 AC unit - we are all still struggling to get it to trigger the AC compressor though, I know you have given info on this in the past, but any more clues would be great!

I realize and can appreciate the complexity here for sure but the thread has so much back and forth on what works and what doesn't that I don't know where to begin even. It also seems like some have gotten it to work but others even after all this time are struggling to get it to work.
