After checking my car against a 997.2 turbo i think it wont work with bose as this car has other speakers and more than mine.

I have 997.1 schematics, if you pm me I will forward them to you.
Thank you so much. I will buy the 997.2 schematics. I already have the 997.1. Got a 997.2 button set from UK last night with Sport/PASM/PSE cheaper that 997.1 here in the states . It'll be a busy year for my C4.
I also want to install 997.2 HAVC with ventilated seats buttons... Guess what that's for

You have read the number wrong - its 997.645 not 997.545!

Here is one for sale at a very good price. its in the US, but coincidentally I know this vendor as I have just bought a steering wheel off him which he shipped to me in England and I received today, it is in as new condition - he is good to do business with his name is Steven.

After checking he told me it is for a cayman and they have a different setup, so il will look again to find the right one.

I wrote an email to a seller and he told me that this number is not for bose, only for the small soundsystem?

I believe that color of ASK plug means position of plastic tab that can be cutted so color no problem.

Any other amp can be used for, just need to give it to right hands.
Hi Serg, firstly thanks for giving us all the info for this. I'm currently gathering parts to do this conversion. I have just ordered the 997.1.5 Turbo AirCon unit and the PASM button unit etc. I'm looking for a PCM3 heading but they are rare. I found one that says it never had SatNav, is it correct that you can just activate with a code this feature or did the unit have to have it to begin with?

Isysman - the PCM3 has to have nav, it cannot be retrospectively added.

That is impressive.
The dealer will not even swap the existing PCM because they say Germany won't send the codes.
Do you happen to have the PCM schematics by any chance, in digital (PDF) form?

Hi there,

yes if you pm me your email address I will forward them to you.

The 997.1 schematics are readily available online, but obtaining the 997.2 ones was time consuming and hard work. Its possible to access them by subscribing to the Porsche PIWIS site and then paying a fee to view each page or a fee for an allocated time. The site doesn't allow you to print or save, and the detail is so minute I had to blow each page up and then screen shot it in sections and then save them individually and build them back up as one pdf page!

I can send you both 997.1 and 997.2

I'm about 80% the way through this. It's an adventure! I work in electronics and it's still been a challenge. But I fired up my new PCM today and as soon as I started going through the menus and syncing my phone to it I knew it was a good idea. It looks perfect in the car, really brings the car up to date.

I'm just putting in the centre console USB and iPod sockets and the Bluetooth mics etc and I'll be done apart from getting the codes entered.

Well worth it but go into it with your eyes wide open!
