So in a nutshell you buy all this stuff, install it, then hope that a hacker in Russia checks his email and sends you activation codes?

If someone would put together an actual kit of everything you need you would probably make some money off doing it. My concern is also the reliability of getting those codes so that everything works. I have a 997.1 non bose and would want everything functional, including the sport chrono that is currently in the car. I dont want to lose any functionality.

Questions:
Is there any way to enter the PCM codes/licenses without Piwis? Is it with Durametric possible?

What would happen, if the newly installed PCM receive over a "special CAN bus box" the same VIN as it was installed in the previous car?

For you guys that are doing this or have done it, Im willing to pay someone to put together the wiring loom i would need so i dont have to go about that myself. Id just need to acquire the pcm, the codes, and be good to go. PM me if you would be willing to

1. sure not.

2. there is such "nav-tv" box. but i have client with this box who tells that it works strange - if not saying bad, and he will now cut this out and buy codes. and don't forget that this box is not cheap at all.

they - need to change amp to new version because old version simply doesn't work with pcm3.
you - need to ADD amp. NEED. and it is not bose amp. it is called ASK amp, search on ebay. and figure out wiring for it. without amp you WILL BURN outputs in pcm3 and will be no sound at all.

for retrofitting sportchrono you need clock with podium, connector with wires, cut a right hole in panel for it, and code for enable it.

Also with the PCM 3 Bluetooth must put the new microphone because the old one is not compatible .
