C2S versus a Prius-- Funny, sorta...
Just wanted to note that I personally don't see obeying/violating traffic laws as a political issue. I doubt there would even be a correlation between driving habits and political views, though I could be wrong.
But I did a Google search and found that Repubs may be a little more likely to drive "aggressive" vehicles than Dems:

I myself am an independent, I currently drive a 911 and C63, and my first car was a Saab, so I guess it fits.

This is really funny. I moved to Tennessee a 6-Months to go and everybody is riding my *** and driving aggressively. Now I realize that this is actually a "Good" thing. Thanks for easing my mind!

Well, I'd like to take credit for the beautiful phrase but you can read it for yourself because it's a book. See below.
If Jesus was still on earth...he'd be listening to Michael Savage. (And driving a 911...which one is up for debate).

!!!!!!!!!! Hroussard for president !!!!!!!!!
here is a funny one for all you prius and low-breed ( is that how you write it?? Ie the opposite if hybrid ) folks.. Redwood city, located here in the bay area has done a longterm study ( 8 years use) to validate if those hybrids they purchased actually would be more cost beneficial than the traditional vehicles used by the city in typical daily use. And the answer was... Drum rolllll.......... Nope they were more expensive, had more issues and less residual value.... They are being replaced with .... You guess it.... Gas engined vehicles. How come you never hear about those findings???

I'm sorry but you Libs are just blind idiots and I don't understand what the mental block is. I agree that we need to keep our gift (The World) clean but we have to do it in baby steps.
Your Messiah Obama gave millions of dollars to Solyndra only to see it get pissed down the drain. Wouldn't we have been better off using this money for something better: College Tuition, Detroit's Night Lights, the Poor and Starving. Obama hates Black People and wants to see them in pain. That is why he gave millions to Solyndra. I cannot think of any other reason.

My wife's Prius gets 50 mpg on average, and hasn't had a single issue in the 3 years she's owned it. Driving one gives you free access to the carpool lane, and used Prius' are considered to have exceptionally high resale values: http://moneyland.time.com/2011/06/09..._prius-2008_08
They're great cars, and are extremely good at providing what they're intended to provide: Outstanding gas mileage.
On that note; I'm a 22-year active-duty military member with multiple combat tours under my belt in both IRQ and AFG. I'm also a lifetime NRA member. I sometimes drive my wife's Prius, and I usually carry concealed. You guys need to stop with the BS generalizations.

Glad you got the C&C. God bless you! I've been in the Prius and it's ok.
If your wife is trading the Prius for the 911 what are you getting out of this deal?

Agreed. As an independent, I love seeing stereotypes being defied. And thank you for your service - stay safe!

It's my wife's car, and I don't care what she drives. Truth be told, I don't care what anyone drives, and I'm of the opinion that none of you should either.

Dude,
I was hoping you were bartering a little someth'n someth'n on the side trading for the Prius. But if you're happy with the straight-up trade that's your loss man.
Light'n up. Oh...you're the 22 year old moderator. Probably not a 911 setting in the garage. My bad.
Thank you for your service.

Anyway, I know you've only been here for a month or so and are apparently still trying to figure things out, so let me give you some advice: presumptuousness makes you look ignorant, and rudeness makes you look insecure. Show some respect to other members, don't attack people due to the cars that they choose to drive, stop thinking your special because you drive a base-model 911, improve your reading comprehension...and I think you'll do just fine.
Enjoy your time off.

I'm 41, actually. 22 years is the amount of time I've been serving in the US military. And yes, there is currently no 911 sitting in the garage. Sold my 800rwhp GT2 a few months back and my 900 rwhp 911 TT a few years ago. I admit that I probably go through cars faster than I should.

It would be GREAT if people would have some sense of Humor... It will prolong your life .... trust me .. it will!!! But do let me tell you.. It DOES MATTER what car people drive ... most of the time as they typically associate themselves with the (perceived) qualities of their steed. Example : Volvo driver = safe car - no helmet needed, Prius = Ecobod doing my bit for the world - I hope, Porsche = quality, been around the block, experienced, rich, do not take **** for an answer etc... Do not need to pack heat, can evaporate opposition without the use of a teleprompter. You got the drift :-)
