Thanks, Joe. I'm getting pretty antsy myself. I should have numbers soon, and the wheels should arrive in the next 3-4 weeks.

 

Out of the options you have for this thing you picked the better looking hood. I wish they'd make a clean one that mimics the oem hood but with a higher cowl to clear the blower. I know they make one to clear the maggie, but not sure it works w/ this larger unit.

Nope, nothing new as of late. Most of the shop is in Orlando until Monday for the Performance Racing Industry show.

 

Still waiting on some consistently good weather to break in the clutch, but in the meantime, they installed the C5 axles and my new interior components.

The interior components are a CF radio bezel and leather door pulls that the 2008+ cars get.

After tuning is finally complete, all that's left is to install the suspension, wheels/tires and window/tint.

 

It's amazing how that updated center console transforms the interior on those cars. What do the updated door pulls look like? I guess I never realized they were different.

 

The updated door pulls are stitched leather instead of plain plastic. They look and feel a lot nicer.

I agree with you about the updated center console as well. Night and day.

 

Nice 3LZ upgrade man. I knew that you would like it.

The car looks great and it will be one hell of a mother when done.

 

Thanks JP. I didn't go with a full 3LZ as I can't justify the cost for what you get, but the add-ons I did do really made a difference.
