Documenting my C6 ZO6 build
Update:
A couple of weeks ago, as my car was going through the final stages of dyno-tuning, it ended up not making the power it should have been. Well, MTI decided to use a boroscope to check inside one of the cylinders to see if they could locate the problem and low and behold, they found that one of the rings had not properly sealed during break-in. They decided to remove the motor, overnight and replace ALL of the rings and pistons and re-sleeve to ensure nothing was missed. They are currently working late nights and weekends to get her running at 100% by the time I get home. Of course, all of this extra work is at their expense.
Well, the engine is now fully back together and she’ll begin her new break-in this week.
So far, I’ve been extremely pleased with the folks at MTI. They’ve been very open with me about everything both good and bad, and have really stood by their work when it mattered most. As an experienced client of multiple tuners/builders, I’d say that so far…I’m very pleased with the way MTI has been handing my business.
On another note, my 360 Forged wheels came in a few weeks ago and I had MTI take them over to a reputable wheel and tire shop that they use. The shop said that my wheels look phenomenal, are using the proper titanium fasters, and are the right size. The only issue they have found is one that's common with many brands of forged wheels for Z06’s with TPMS; the valve stems were leaking on one of the wheels. I had them replace all of the valve stems and order relocation brackets for the TPM sensors. It cost me $100.00+ per wheel, but they said it will permanently fix the problem.
Attached are some pics of the block and of the engine now that it’s all back together again. Final dyno numbers will be coming soon.

Sorry to hear, bro. But you know as well as I do that that's sometime how it is with these types of extensive builds.
Just bought my race wheels. Ran across a set of brand-new, 1-piece 18x13/18x10 CCW SP550s with PS2s for a price that I just couldn't pass up.
After I powdercoat them gloss black, I'll run 345 M&H Racemasters on the rears.

Awesome to hear. Hope it is done soon and they have some big #'s for you.
Are those the same size M&H tires Jamie is running on the rear of his Z06? If so, send him a PM and ask him how they fit.
