Don't Z06's have titanium connecting rods stock? What does MTI consider the upper hp/tq limit for the stock Ti rods? Just curious.

If you're installing stiffer valve springs to raise rev limit, do you think the supercharger can keep up at higher rpms?

I'm sure you're looking forward to getting home.

I have never heard of stock Z06 Ti rods failing on a stock or modified LS7. Neither has MTI or Katech for that matter. What has failed on these motors are the pistons, which I have replaced.

The stiffer valve springs are not for an increased rev-limit. Rev-limit will remain the same. We're installing the to work better with the increased boost we're running.

Thanks.

Here are a couple more pics of the wheels before they go on the car and the motor getting stiffer valve springs. Once the car is lowered and the wheels are installed, I'll post some more pics.

That blower looks awfully big to onlyh be 2.3 Liters! Maybe it's just the way the intake comes off the front that I'm not used to.

It's tough to tell by the pics.. Does that supercharger sit higher than the ZR-1's unit?

Here's a pic I took at the chicago auto show last month. I think your car will be slightly faster.

Dave,

They are both the same S/C's; well mine is actually the smaller TVS1900. The ZR1 uses the TVS 2300.

Below are some more pics. These were taken after the wheels were installed and the suspension was lowered 1.5". The suspension is still setttling and will drop a little bit more over time, but you get the idea.
