Documenting my C6 ZO6 build
Scott,
I'm really happy for you and congratulations on the numbers! Can't wait to get your impressions once you drive it. Call me after you plant 5th to 7k
But before you pick it up, make sure MTI swaps in 3:90 gears....and if you can swing it, micropolish the tranny and install straight cut 5th and 6th gears from a ZR1 with a good ssk. I'd never steer you wrong brother! It's the best mod money I spent on my Z06.

Good numbers. You are really going to need some tires to make that thing stick!
MTI's dyno in STD reads like others in SAE. Stock Z06 numbers on that dyno in SAE are unrealistic.
I think that TVS1900 isn't going to make much more than that. Next you'll have to step up to the 2300 or a centri blower.

Well, the car is complete. It made 722 rwhp/660 rwtq at 10 psi on 93 octane. It made 453 rwhp on the same dyno before the build.
Although it made less peak HP than I expected, it made more TQ...and has a very large overall area under the curve. I haven't seen too many tq lines like mine....almost straight across. Get this...it makes 620 rwtq at only 2,800 rpm!
I can't wait to see how this curve translates on the street. Anyway, the car leaves MTI Friday, so should be home soon. I'll dyno it on my local dyno here, where it made 443 rwhp before it left for GA. I'll post the results when I get them.

How much hp did you expect on 93 octane? 700+ at the wheels is very reasonable, especially considering you're not giving up low end torque.
Here are a couple of pics of the car in my driveway. The first ones are of the car on the 20" 360 Forged wheels (which I absolutely love, by the way), and then a pic with my 18" CCWs that I had powdercoated and pinstriped. I have 345/35/18 Mickey Thompson DRs on the CCWs.

Agreed!!! We need a closer pic of them that shows the pinstripe, etc.
I'll have some times for you guys soon. Unfortunately, its pouring rain right now.
I like the 360 Forged better also, but I simply can't hook in any gear under 4th with the 345/25/20 Nitto Invos. I hook great with the 345/35/18 MT's.
