Documenting my C6 ZO6 build
Awesome news Scott...looking forward to hearing about the build and seeing some pics.
Ya, Mike (the owner of the red car) is thrilled with his car right now. He's acting like a kid on Christmas morning, and he's in his 60's.
He said it's ridiculously fast, but surprisingly smooth...and he's coming from a cam/bolt-on car.
They should be getting started any day now, if they haven't already. I know we were waiting for the pistons, but they came in Monday. My axles came in last week and everything else should be there already.
I'll post new pics when I get some.

Very nice build! Your car is going to be a beast when it's done. The best move you made was building the bottom end. Does MTI have a website?
Wanted to update you guys with the current progress.
The motor is currently in the machine shop getting the pistons, rings, rod bolts, etc...installed. Once that's complete, the S/C install should go rather quickly. Then it's the clutch, axles and tuning.
Once my 360 Forged wheels come in, they'll install the suspension upgrade, drop and corner balance the car and install the SSK and a few new interior components.
Here are some pics of the clutch, axles and a 2008 Radio Bezel and door pulls. I'll post more as soon as I get them.
Talk to you guys later.

I'm getting the extractor version in fiberglass painted to match my car. Thanks.
Ah-ha.........now I know why you don't need my extra set of American Racing headers. Nice build Scott. I thought about building up my Z........but picking up something a bit more exotic. GL with the project and be safe on deployment.

So what's next for you? I'll be getting another P-car relatively soon. Just need to decide if I'm staying in or getting out first.
I've been very impressed with my girlfriends new orange Boxster S....just not fast enough for me but handles very well. I'm seriously considering either the Aston Martin or the AMG SL63. I'm leaning towards the Benz. I'm def' looking forward to your build when it is done.
