2007 V8V dash died while driving.
I would recommend contacting Rich from Redpants. He has access to a lot of parts and may be able to expedite them. I have bought items from England and they have consistently been delayed at custom
So I ordered and received the new CRM module. Install was relatively simple.
Seems to work like a charm now. Starts easy, dash panel works, roof works.
Thanks for all the great advice. You guys saved me a bunch of time and money.

I know this is an older thread, and others have the same CRM issue. Maybe you folks who have had this before can help me.
I have a 2009 Vantage Roadster. The previous owner said it had a bad CRM or needed a new battery and could not fix due to cost. I bought the car and got a new battery and new CRM from Scuderia. Install was fairly easy. Top still not operable. Dash still has lights on like it's a disco for Tire Pressure and Passenger Airbag.
I know the unit may need to be flashed, but is there ANYTHING in terms of fuses to check or other places to consider before I drive 90 miles to dealer for them to charge me for a flash, and it could have been a fuse the prior owner removed or something else?
Just covering bases here. Thanks

Try removing the new CRM and driving the car. If dash lights, etc., all function normally without the CRM connected, I believe that confirms that the CRM is the source of the problem and the new one needs to be flashed.
That was the case with my DB9.

Next steps?
So with the old or the new CRM, the top still does not work. New battery as well. Switch does nothing... no motor sounds trying or pumps working. Top sits right where it is, closed.
My parking sensors have no sound, no lights on the button, pressing it does nothing either, zip.
Traction Control has no errors on the dash, but the button doesn't seem to do anything either, no lights. zip.
Possible a fuse somewhere that controls any and all together i could try and look for?

Did you try taking out the CRM module all together to see if that fixed all the other issues (dash lights, etc) but the top? Based on others experience, that should be the case if it is a bad CRM. If that is the case, it sounds like you need to put in the new CRM module and take it to the dealer to get it flashed to get the top working. If that is NOT the case and there are still other issues without the CRM installed, you probably have to dig deeper which may mean taking it to a shop that can handle further troubleshooting.
My dash does not seem to have the typical problems related t the CRM, so that is what I am trying to solve. I'm thinking it's not a bad CRM module, since the car does the same thing with the new CRM. My dash lights never went out or went dark like most say. Mine shows errors which I now am assuming are just regular code errors I need to fix.
So if it's not the CRM, what else could it be preventing the top from opening? If you hear NO motor noise, I figure it cannot be a pump. I'm thinking something else electrical.

I was told by the previous owner the top did not operate, just stopped. He also noticed a check engine light, passenger airbag light on, so upon "internet searching" he thought it related to the CRM.
I bought the car knowing it had an issue with the top. I thought the same, I put a new battery in and replaced the CRM module. Nothing changed.
So obviously i'm thinking its something else and looking for help to what it could be. Fuse? Another electrical component? Motor?
Again, I have not flashed the new CRM, but my thought is, if the CRM was bad before, wouldnt the dash issues that everyone has be the same? Dash shutting off, going dead, etc? So i'm thinking I replaced the CRM for nothing.

The airbag light, is commonly the passenger seat weight sensors not calibrated OR back of seat has collided with the rear trim (were battery is located), this gives a false reading of the 4x weight sensors to trigger the airbag light. Correction is to calibrate the passenger seat and erase the SRS fault code.
First thing I would do before being a part swap mechanic. Buy a fault code scan tool that can communicate with all the modules. Do a scan and diagnose the faults that are stored. You don't need an $80,000 AMDS2 just for code reading. Companies like Autel, Foxwell..etc sell hand held devices for single user applications that work on all the Aston Martin Vantage modules..I'm sure if you search 6speed you will find a large percentage of AM owner shoot for the Foxwell unit and only pay for credit towards desired protocols.

I did the window reset, right after the new battery was installed, so that should be all set. I just figured if there are additional fuses that control the top or top functions, i'd try those. The manual seems to show 3 or 4 fuses I think in different locations. Just wasnt sure with anyone else's experience, if they knew how to diagnose this.
Yeah, I need a better scan tool, I also have a couple Porsche's in the garage and i'd like to get something decent that can handle all the cars and issues that may arise, without breaking the bank. Any recommendations there would be helpful too.
