My wife had the same reaction to the AM. Your point about a person's size it really something to consider. I have a friend who purchased an AM and raved about it. He traded it in within a year. It turns out that it was too cramped.

Question: What do you guys in TN call a man humping a football.

I dare not answer that.

I saw a man of 350lb trade in a AM V8V for a GT SS. He should just get a RR Phantom EWB and end the foolishness. One of the reasons I went with the GTC was that the Merc SL and the Jag. XKR were not roomy enough for my legs with the recline angle I prefer. I thought the V8V was to small for me also and much more of a ladies fit. My daughter loved it. I have not drove a DB9 but I will if the opportunity arises.

In the final approach to a car I would think a person would weight all the priorities of his or her tastes and then the right car will be known.

Doc, what's humping a football?. I am 5'10" 158lbs and I still have to choose a vehicle for its comfort as a driver. I was in my nephew's NSX and boy that damm thing has no comfort to it whatsoever. All of my 7series that I have owned were really comfortable. The different Audis that I have had, I don't think they put any thought into the ergonomics.

I dunno about Aston and Bently being a girl's car, I know for sure Aston is not, it's very sleek and feels like driving a hand made custom suit from Savile Row and heck the guy of all guys James Bond drives one ! This said, I think the Bentley has more of a widespread appeal in that women and men would like it because it is comfortable, it is spacious, it has a usable boot, it's a great cruiser and it looks very nice. Whereas an Aston woman would find sexy but maybe not want to own but think it's sexy for a guy to own and/or drive.

As for Aston's interior, in my DB9, I fit quite well, I am 6 ft and 238 lbs...but my buddy he has a hard time, he's like 6' 5" with long legs and he feels cramped with his sead back and his head is alost hitting the headliner as the roof sweeps back quite sharply. I thik with the Aston height is more of an issue than wieght. I can tell you that ladies fit quite nicely into the passenger's seat of a DB9 , but tell them to pack light, not much other space in the boot, and the rear seats are practically unusable except for a bit of storage.

Humping a foot ball is an expression of some vulgarity with sexual innuendo describing a man "riding" something to small for him.

I drove my car at lunch and i still felt like a real man. I like Sunir's comment about wide appeal.

I am going to start using your finer vulgarity at my work I was just on EBay checking out a DB9 with a Mansory body kit. Looks kinda stunning.

OMG you guys are great!!!

Not sure about where you live, perhaps Cheshire and being a footballer is typical Bentley blinged to stupidity or Laguna where AM is casual cool or Monaco where both cars are a dime a dozen boring....

Around these here parts the Bentley is loved by all, and side by side the college kids on up like the Bentley more probably due to its persistent appearance in Cribs and rap videos, etc (and yes Paris Hilton, etc too). To date no woman has flashed me her chest in the Bentley as has happened in the Ferrari. Not sure why i just said that, but am just sayin'.

To me, the AM kinda shouts old guy trying to be young (yet again). The more i see the AMs, they more my opinion is solidified. So it makes sense Clarkson loves the AM.

Don't get me going about Chevy trucks cuz around these parts we are Ford guys

PS: Interior work? Bentley wins hands down without even breaking a sweat.

Yep, the Bentley's interior has so many different combinations of hides, stitching, woods and carbon fiber combined with fine craftsmanship, makes the Bentley stunning.

I'd love to have many cars but $ and space do not allow.

Last night going to Knoxville, top down with my dad on board we got several accolades of approval, mostly from men. One black guy walking down the street was nearly walking backwards after we went by. These cars are rare here but the young black dudes seem to recognize them easily. Cribs and rap videos for sure.

Let's not get started on pickup trucks cause those are for chicks. We have a lot of females driving full size trucks and a few with 3500 series. There is one that has the long pipes out the top and a pair of rubber ***** hanging off the hitch ball.

You are absolutely right about young blacks knowing what a Bentley and RR looks like because of MTV, BET and all those music magazines. It's crazy, but around all the hoods in CA, they will recognized a Bentley before an AM. Kinda scary, I don't want to get car jack at gunpoint because some little kids want a joyride.

There's just something hot about a young blond babe handling a large work tool.

Wedge I get cha. The Bentley and RR may attract some of the wrong admirer's and the GT has been ill talked of for the thug football player association.

Huh? Have absolutely no idea what you are referring to? Could you be so kind as to post a photo and help us all out?

As for footballers, yes in some parts of the world the GT's 'image' is stuck there, yet around here she is a highly admired grand touring automobile. Would say more, yet a proper gentleman doesn't kiss and tell.

And make sure when you post that picture of the hot blonde working with large tools that she is looking all sweaty and grimy.

Many of my posts are left suggestive to avoid outright rank material. Sorry Steven ain't got nothing on file to post a pic. Watch a Hardees commercial. Love double negatives.

The GT is highly esteemed here also.
