Updating my 2009 to led headlights. This job is very intensive. Allow yourself some time and LOTS of patience!
The passenger side is definitely the hardest....

Hello @Bentley guy ,
Can you please tell us where you purchased the headlights, as all the sellers I have contacted state that they are are on backorder.
Hello @Bentley guy ,
I don't know why you PM'ED me the sellers name instead of sharing it here, but the seller you gave "bodykitsdotcom" said that they are still on backorder as of last week when I checked in again, when did you purchase the headlights?
Has anyone looked into Chinese sellers? Surely most (if not all) of the other units for sale are manufactured in China to begin with. I received a reply from the seller regarding this item:
My experience is that if you're happy to spend the money and get zero back, it's all good.
Having said that, the element of risk gets complicated on how much you want what is being advertised and what alternatives there are. For example, I've broken every rule in the 'sensible' book to get some very specific ingredients sent from Ali Baba. It all worked out and I now have a lifetime supply, and they send me a Christmas card every February.
They look identical to what I purchased. Just know that Alibaba charges quite a bit for shipping items to USA so you might end up spending more in the long run.
Did anyone find a respected / serious seller that sells the Bentley LED lights? The mechanic who worked on my lights told me that the adjustment screws on the back of my light housings were damaged, and that he had adjusted the lights the best he could. I just had them checked at my local Vehicle Inspection place and the right headlight points slightly up and way too much right for it to be approved. So by September I need to have it fixed or I can't drive on the roads in Sweden.
I have not had any Issues with the adjustment. This is a very tedious process when you're installing and it does require a lot of time. I marked the aim of my oem lights before I removed them to get the new lights adjusted properly.
That's good to hear. I think you may have misunderstood me though. I'm afraid that I may have to purchase new headlights if I cannot get them adjusted enough to pass the yearly inspections, and if so I would like to go ahead and get the LEDs like you did. But they are difficult to purchase nowadays, at least the chrome ones. The black ones seem to be easier to find.
So for the ones that has taken the headlights out, can you show me the tool you used to take this bolt in this video out please. This is where I’m stuck at the moment 🤦🏽♂️
(Short vid because of site limitations)
Edit: finally got it out. Had to use a slimmer half moon wrench then what I already had.
