What could be causing KEY NOT FOUND when going over bumps?
If I go over a speed bump, or the curb in my driveway, for example, I have a 25% chance of getting a bing and a KEY NOT FOUND error on the dash.
Scans of the Kessy system only show a few Key Out of Range errors.
I checked the Kessy box for any loose connections.
Any ideas how these two things could be connected? Not thrilled about the cost and complexity of possibly replacing the system if needed.

Just to be sure, are you saying that you pulled the carpet up to access the KESSY module itself, if so, did you have any moisture ?
Next, I would like to ask, iirc you have 2007 GT, so you have push button start, if correct, are you using the push button start with the key in your pocket when this is happening, or have you tried the key in the ignition to see if this fault persist ?
Johnny
Hi Johnny, yes it is a 2007 GT. I usually start the car with the key in my pocket. I will test with the ignition slot and see if it is different.
There was no moisture at all under the carpet and I have done the helpful tutorials on cleaning out all of my scuttle drains as well as the aircon drains as well.

Let us know how the key in the ignition switch works out, if good, then I would be thinking about an antenna problem being that it happens as you hit a bump, has anybody been in the center console at all, as what you describe seems like a loose connection.
Does the keyless entry work fine with the key in your pocket, or do you have to push buttons on the remote to unlock and lock ?

i have experienced ' key not found ' when driving along ( RHD car ) when the keys are in my trouser pocket , there seems to be a ' dead spot ' that the car cant see , moving the key around inside the car eliminates the issue
just my experience of a similar issue

Keyless entry works .. but range is kind of poor. I have to kind of bring up the key in my pocket right next to the door handle for it to work on the passenger side. I always just assumed it was bad range due to an early system or something. I have never tried any other Bentley
@silvertonesx24 ,
How is the battery in the keyfob ?
As a weak battery will diminish the range, severely, I had the same over time with my A8L W12, S600, and the Bentley GT, the only difference is that the A8L tells me in the Instrument cluster that the keyfob battery is low, I did not see that in the Bentley as I recall, and being that my new Bentley keys had been sitting waiting for me to install an engine since May of 2016, they were weak, and it was so bad in range that I almost had to hold the keyfob to the door handle to open hands free, a new battery in each fob cured that.
Do you have more then one fob ?
Just a note as I just went out and tested on the B, with no battery at all in the keyfob, nothing works of course as far as buttons or keyless entry, but, you can still open the door by key-blade and start the engine by using the ignition, as the smart keys work on 2 systems, just figured I'd throw that out there.

I did get key battery low errors a few months back. Replaced with cheap battery and it kept coming back. Bought some energizer lithium and it has stayed away. I only have one key.
I did some driving around today with the key in the physical ignition, and no key not found errors yet.

Where is your mobile phone in relation to the key in your pocket?
Oddly enough, I have had this happen on my Audi S5 and traced it back to the iphone in my pocket not getting along well with the key also in the same pocket. Having the phone in the console, cupholder or somewhere away from the key seems to prevent this.
Take a ride without the phone with you and see if that might narrow down the issue at least.
