Chad,
Nice recap of the Killer Angel. This car will never be done! What is the best quarter mile time you have run with the car and at what hp setting was it done? How much have you spent on this project if you care to share? It must be in the $300,000.00 range for just the mods! You should own part of SCARGO by now!
You are one wild and crazy guy!

Oh yes Killer Angel will be done .......... soon. The best time......... most people wouldn't believe me so why set myself up for being flamed.
Everyone will get to see it soon enough. As for money, you are probably low. I quit counting about six months ago.
As for S Car Go Racing, you wouldn't believe the comp time Rob has put into this car.
Everytime I think we've hit the end of our problems ........... Murphy strikes again.
Our valves were ordered with the majority of the material being Innconel. The intakes were delivered as ordered from Forrera, however the exhausts (Manley) were delivered in stainless. This is a no no for our motor. The stainless won't last under the heat and are far to heavy for 9500 rpm's. They won't have the Innconel material now until July.
I want to just scream.

barebones,
Since we have one extra month, I gave Rob @ S Car Go Racing the go ahead to build a larger prototype MAF for Killer Angel. Should have pics by July.

It is good to see there are at least four 6speeders who have impecible taste.
It doesn't seem like much information is coming out about breaking down these motors. I was really surprised many did not know about the thrust bearing wear issue and how to remedy or prevent it.
We have found another issue. As the rpm's and oil pressure goes up (GT3/GT1 oil pump) it appears that a certain oil plug (between the motor and the tranny) is weak and likes to blow. This has happened to us twice in the past. Our fix was to drill and tap the plugs in this area.
Anyone else have this happen to them?

We believe we have done everything correctly. Needless to say it has been to the best of our ability. Their has been no expense spared. Certain parts have been remanufacturered up to three times to obtain exactly what we wanted. No guarantee's as to what we end up with. However, we have high hopes.
It shouldn't be much longer.
