silvershark is infamous around these parts
[quote=oak;1559951]I didn't get a chance to weigh all this stuff I removed,... I think it's more than 38lbs. didnt' seem that heavy while removing individual items but once everything was removed it seemed to weigh much more than 38lbs.

OAK, Yours may weigh more than 38lbs. I only removed the carpet over the
ECU aluminum plate exposing the CF strut tower brace. I purchased some light weight carpet, slid it under the strut brace and cut holes for the PSS9 adjusters. Looks like a GT2 back area, no seats, belts or hardware and bolts
from seat backs. Will get pics to share

silvershark, post some pics. I may do something like your setup. as of now I am going to leave out the short carpet section to have access to my motons adjusters. which strut brace did you install? I purchased one for the front from mike @ awe to mount my moton cannisters. nice and light.

Do you have pics of the stripped area under the carpet where the
Turbo badge is? What is your guess estimate of the weight savings of
the additional pieces removed? ie large carpet area with badge, back
piece cover for wiper motor?

no I didn't take any pics, but the large carpet is about 8-10lbs the leather cover and pillar covers are extremely light maybe a pound if that for all the pieces. I was surprised how much the large foam backed carpet weighed.

Thanks Marty & Heavy,
It has been over a year since I purchased the brace...I don't remember,
I will check receipts and let you know. It wasn't much, like $150 or so.
It is just like the one EVO sells for $275-$295, same manufacturer guarantee.

Car had between a half tank and a 1/4 tank, so maybe 35 of gas. So the zero fuel weight should be about 3285.

Stock 3475
1/4 Tank -25.0
Mats, Spare and Tools -50.0
Wiper Delete -3.8
Rear Seat Removal -22.1
Subwoofer Removal -12.2
LWFW -19.0
Tubi Exhaust -22.4
Rear Bumper Support -21.4
Front Bumper Support -14.2
total loss -190.1
Est. car weight 3285

TX, I lost almost 80lbs with my seats. Stock leather, heated, memory 63lbs
each. Replacement Corbeau 25lbs each and major difference in support.
