Touchless carwash

I go to a touchless carwash a time or two a week. The other day, I pulled out onto the street and hit the gas and boom- everything lit up... "go to workshop" on the computer, aux light, psm light, everything.. The car ran fine. I pulled over, shut it off, turned it back on and was on my way. No problems.
Thoughts??

Water in the intake probably.

I'll get a stutter and such after I even hand wash the car as my driveway is on a slope that, with the car parked on it, makes the engine bay the lower spot. ie, most of the water ends up in the engine bay via the air intakes.

When I had my K&N on there, I used the drycharger cover and that helped it a LOT. Now I'm running a supercharger, so its a moot point...

Anyways, to me it just sounds like you ended up with water getting into your intake.

Cheers
Aaron

I would agree with above. Did you keep the car running while the wash was going?

It is most likely the high pressure these touchless use that is causing the problem.

Water in the intake, temporary messing with the MAF. Just shut car off and re-start. I usually let mine idle for awhile after a wash.
