Working on my 2018 "To-Do" list
When I get the Vantage out of storage, I am going to use the hoist there as many service and maintenance items need to be done from underneath our cars.
As I often say, my memory is good but short, so I'm recording my ideas for future labour tasks and part collecting...
Fluids:
* Flush/refill coolant system
* Flush/refill brake fluid
* Bleed clutch fluid
Front end:
* Re/Re with new front rotors and pads
* Re/Re front wheel wheel liners to repair leaking windshield reservoir, replace air filters, and adjust headlights
* Replace 8 spark plugs
Rear end:
* Replace rear rotors and pads
* Adjust parking brake cables
Exhaust:
* Install new 200 CEL Cats
* Replace front O2 sensors
* Re/Re exhaust manifolds to headers
* Replace starter
Body & Paint:
* Repaint passenger side skirt
* Repaint driver side door and rear quarter panel
* Potential colour change to stock rims
* Paint silver lower rear diffuser Onyx Black
* Install smoked lenses for markers, repeaters and rear reflectors
* Replace stone guard on hood, front bumper and pasenger side skirt
Interior:
* Troubleshoot Traction control off button not working
* Replace interior floor mats
* Reflash ECM with new tune
* Leather conditioning
* Potential cosmetic colour change to silver colour items in cockpit
* Potential cosmetic colour change to door pulls and door arm rests
* Upgrade windshield transponder to new smaller design
* Potential upgrade to Premium Audio

Are you aware you have to hold it in for 6 seconds? Some maybe a little shorter or longer, lots of variables car to car, but it's not a "push and off" situation. It's a pisser but AM doesn't allow an accidental push to disengage the TC, you have to be making a concerted effort, which IMO is ridiculous, but the way it is.
On the post 2011 cars you have to hold it the 6 seconds to get it into Track Mode, and then another 4 seconds to turn Track Mode off and completely disengage the TC. Which is the primary reason I just couldn't buy post 2011 [besides not loving the front splitter]

Yes unfortunately I did read up on how long button needs to be depressed and that wasn't the easy fix.
Good news is the traction control works, so I was hoping it was something simple like the switch itself since it won't disable even after holding 15+ seconds

I don't find the traction control system overly intrusive so if it isn't something easy it will fall lower on the priority list...

Got around to printing my shop manual...
Before you ask why I bothered to print 947 pages from a pdf file, I guess it's for the same reason I subscribe to Spotify, yet have hundreds of vinyl records!
A trip to the local office supply store for:
I envision using certain removable pages for my local mechanic if I'm there using his hoist and/or his labour. If they get dirty or damaged, I can always reprint those pages individually. These books would be passed onto a future owner as well.

- two 500 packs of 26lb laser printer
- two binders (one 4" for workshop manual and other 1-1/2" for the rest of the technical data)
- black toner cartridge
