Warning to All 996TT and GT2 owners
The M3 does slide nicely. Here's yours truely trying to get sideways. First time driving Fanman's 996 and owned the M3. Enjoy. It gets better starting the middle.

As i sad i wish them luck, but its going to suck to see people complaining left and right they they blew their motor for w/e reason and its because of this kit

BUT...the trust of the Pcar is pretty amazing and the M fails to even feel fast in comparison...

The S54 *should* be able to handle 500rwhp on an on-going basis. The older M50/S50 motors in the E36 models are now putting out "Supra-like" numbers, many on stock bottom ends with head spacers. The S54 is built stronger plus has a much better head design.
Another point, since BMW had many engines replaced during the rod bearing fiasco, they significanly lowered the price of a remanf. S54 long block to around $8000.
HPF stated they were going to push the engine as far as it will go on the stock bottom end, so I guess we'll see its limit soon enough.

"Stage 1 will probably be called "HPF 800" because that's what it will be making (in bhp). Stage 2 will probably be called the "HPF 1000". Stage 2 will include pistons / rods and a few other goodies and will easily make 1000bhp. "
And yes the E46 internals people really dont even know, that the internals are like double the size of the E36's, but we'll see!

Either way, just glad to see a company developing a quality kit for the car.

It would be smart if he had a race mode and pump, otherwise its way too much!
