I would use 303 Fabric cleaner, then use Raggtop cleaner and protectant. That should do it.

Tree Resin (Sap) – place a 1:10 solution of Isopropyl alcohol on the resin and allow to dwell (soak a towel and lay it on the resin) and then scrape with a plastic razor blade. Thoroughly rinse surface with clean water and then replace protection

91% isopropyl alcohol is one option; another is to purchase a can of compressed "air", invert and freeze the sap, which can then be scraped off

That's a neat technique. Have you done it with great results?

Yes - the inverted can is SOP for chewing gum in carpet. Isopropyl is only solvent which will remove sap without damage. As always, test small area first

Thanks guys, I will try the inverted canned air first. I have the Raggtopp protectant for after it's removed.

Will alcohol also work on the body?

Yes, 91% isopropyl works extremely well on the body.

For rag top, if you need to raise the "nap" of the fabric after cleaning, use a bronze bristle brush (gently) which is available at most shoe repair stores (normally used to raise the nap / clean suede products)
