This happened to me as well. It needed balancing. I was like no way it needed that and it wasn't shaking before the spacers were added. There's some odd, maybe coincidental reason that when disturbed and the wheels are removed...or maybe the spacers amplifies any slight imbalance? Not sure, but definitely look into getting the wheels/tires balanced.
so you mean after you balanced the tires your vibration gone then. So I may start with balancing then.
Yes, the physics of it never really made sense to me. Just something I've noticed. This happens also on cars when they have their wheels/tires rotated, I've personally noticed this on past cars that I've rotated the wheels on...not all the cars, but often enough.
My spacers not from EBay . Mine is ECS tuning wheel spacers especially fir Panamera I ordered.
it looks a very high quality product. So I hope problem is not with spacers.
1. CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. Mating surfaces must be scrubbed free of rust, cleaned and smooth. Only way to avoid issues. So your spacers (assuming new), must go onto the wheel that is superbly cleaned. DONT FORGET TO CLEAN OUT EACH BOLT HOLE AND ALL THE BOLTS TOO.
2. When you tighten the nuts, hand tighten first (all 5). Then use a wrench or air tool to torque the bolts down to about 25lbs or so (less than half of what is needed)
3. Lower the car down to the ground.
4. Torque down each bolt in star pattern (NOT SEQUENTIAL).
5. Repeat same on the other side of car.
6. It is important to know that your alignment is done well too
7. It is important to know your tires are in good shape physically
8. It is important to know that the tires are balanced well
If you know you bolt tires down properly on the ground, tires are balanced well, alignment in order, tires in good shape, you are testing on flat, good quality road, with all that, if shaking only stops when spacers are removed, then it may be that the spacers are poor quality (not even and not centric).
Dont over torque the nuts.

Thank you, Deezflip. I had spacers with the old tires for a year. Now I have a new set of tires, no vibration with spacers. Need alignment, left pull a bit.
I agree. Alignment with spacers, but super cleaned before install. Then you just barely tighten bolts to about 60ftlbs, then set car on ground, then you loosen each bolt at a time, in star pattern. Back out a bit, then tighten to about 90. After all bolts go through this while car is on ground, then you take torque wrench and complete tighten sequence, in star pattern.
Then you do alignment with suspension in normal mode, while suspension is disabled (so after they park, car in bay, they disable it in normal mode). When they center the wheel, they need to slightly over correct to one side, then return back to center, this is to account for any slack on suspension components (you try not to have tension into either direction when alignment is set).
Of course, tire pressure must be at exactly required settings. Sometimes, when alignment cannot be reached, a shock can be loosened a bit (in engine bay), then pushed in desired direction, retightened, and alignment redone. Any work done on suspension, is called for in FSM, to be torqued up while bearing car weight. Something to keep in mind too.
I have been through alignments enough times on this car, and this process works like a charm, no pulling and perfect. It is also critical to ensure your control arms are in good shape, same with the tie rod ball joints. Any of these worn, will translate into imprecise alignment. Then you will notice pulls, etc.

I read and followed threads on wheel spacers for Panamera but I want to be sure that 15mm spacers are a good fit for 2018 Panamera on 21" wheels
To find out, go to the car, and see how much clearance you have from tire to the fender wheel liner and edge of fender. 15mm is about rhe thickness if your pinky finger. So if you imagine whole tire pushed out away from center of car, you will see if there is enough clearance. Your big question should be if your lug nuts need to be changed for longer ones or not. To measure, simply remove one lug out of wheel and then by hand try to screw in
. As soon as threads start catching measure now much lug sticks out from the edge of its hole in wheel. Then subtract 15mm from that. You should have at least half inch or more left over. If not, time to plan getting new lugs woth the spacers.
