Ignition on but not running it was 1.02 volts

Car running it was going from 1.46 to 1.50 volts


Is this good or bad?

They fixed my leak thats it they had no time for anything else today. That was a pain in the *** but still glitching a little. All i know is when i floor it boost kicks in at low RPMs full boost.

ok, you've fixed a leak. i'm genuinely wondering what it is you're hoping to accomplish or eliminate? if your car boosts and otherwise runs as it should. what is glitching? maf volt numbers? log data bugs you.. what?! lol

on balance i really have no business here, so forgive me.

So they fixed it and it still leaks? If so, that's no fix then.

I will do durmateric numbers and some runs lets see how it does. Hey does anyone know where to get the hose that holds the diverter vales in?


I see what your saying for the ignition angle i bet plugs and coils are next.

if it were me i'd have thought about them sooner rather than later especially when chasing gremlins real OR imagined lol. i just changed mine and thought my car ran perfectly before i switched em! vastly improved responsiveness. just sayin'.

Done some datalogging and got some missfires showing up cylinder 1 and 2

Ya i had it but just didnt save it.



Heres a funny thing that happens all leaks are fixed holds pressure to 20 psi.


When its warmer then 50 degrees out i can floor it at any RPM all the way to redline.


When its below 50 degrees if i floor it below 4k RPM it stumbles right at 5k RPM but no miss fire but if i floor it above 4k no stumble or anything goes all the way to redline. Thats the strangest thing. Wtf

I read as much of the thread as I could but I didn't read the entire thing so please
excuse if I'm being redundant:

The 16G or 16 billet or whatever ( I broke the record on cheap 1500.00 g's) is
worthless without an IC upgrade. Small turbos create very high temps and the
car heat soaks after one good pull. Guys running 16 hybrids at the track with
stock ic's actually lose lap times compared to stock. Even in a strictly street
car, heat soak is horrible.

The key to going fast with these little turbos are basic simple supporting mods. Big
ic's, decent flowing exhaust, 60 lb injectors and a boost controller will make those
babies sing! And because of the copious amounts of low end torque, a little weight
loss makes a BIG difference. The 0-100 in my 16g car was 6.1 seconds and my
60-130 was 5.87. Faster than a lot of big turbo cars up to 140-150.

You will never make the AMS claimed 700 hp on a set of k16s and if it has a 68mm
wheel it is essentially an Alpha 28 turbo lol. The 16 housing will not flow more than
22 lb's of boost and it will not make much more than 550 rear wheel hp. And if you
are using stock intercoolers, exhaust and 5 bar fpr you will not see more than 530...
if that.

Remember, I broke the record with el cheapo Vivid Racing 16gs and the guy who had the
previous record ( blackhorseturbo) was running Vivid k16 g's. AMS is full of crap with
700 hp k16's. I didn't get 700 hp on my alpha 28s lol. But AMS claimed 900 hp on alpha
28s. btw, I was running ms109 when I got 570 rwhp on 16gs and 650 rwhp on alpha 28s
and I had every supporting mod known to man.
