Any DIY on removing the air-intake grilles on the front bumper (left and right, two grilles on each side). My V6 model comes with body color-matched grilles which I think looks less-aggressive/sporty. I plan on plasti-dipping them black to match the front center grilles.
It feel like it should be pretty simple to remove but don't want to break anything in the process. Not quite easy to determine where the tabs are by just looking at it from the outside. I'm hoping I do not have to remove the front bumpers in order to take them out.
Reset my Cayenne 2012 Oil Change warning using the X-431 tool:
Worked for me today on my 2012 CTT and others on other posts. Plug the X431R into to OBDII port. Turn on key.
Mine came with Chinese menu and instructions. Here's the way to get it into English menu. You can also access the menu by plugging micro USB cable into port on bottom and connect to power supply, then press the blue button to exit to the normal menu where you can use these instructions to set English prior to bringing out to car. Chinese is in same position as English.
These are the English equivalents of the screens.
First screen take the second to last item down (Tools)
See below:
If in Chinese, scroll down to second to last item and press green return button.
press green return
select language press green return
on third page second item down is Porsche
After completion you will see a place where you set the date and choose interval. I did the reset in Chinese so I don't have the English equivalents.
